Friday will be the one year anniversary of his death and while half the world, well a third, will remember him for his skin changing, child touching, and altogether terrifying personal eccentricities, I, for one, will remember him for his music.
His music, by the way, was about as great as dance has ever gotten. You hear him in everybody… EVERYBODY. His influence on 21st century pop is MUCH BIGGER THAN THE BEATLES.
