I read written reviews in major newspapers, but online stuff is like just a hyper-version of telephone. It’s ridiculous. There are a lot of great things that have come from it, but I think there’s a lot of bad things. I think it’s destroyed modern journalism. It’s turned things incredibly tabloidesque.“Anyone who thinks they have passed basic creative writing 101 can be a blogger.”

I must correct Scott on one thing. Nobody here thinks they’ve passed Creative Writing 101. Indeed, I got expelled for using the “f” word!!
