CBGB’s Holdings LLC has filed for bankruptsy and who is to blame em?
It is unconscionable that the name has not been used better.
1)You barely even see tees anymore.
2) Small clubs are all the rage in lower Manhattan, but CBGB’s didn’t only not reopen, they also failed to lease their name to say Bowery Ballroom.
3) the museum sucked.
4) They didn’t bother with a CBGB’s Records though there are plenty of great punk bands out there.
And so, after spending a fortune to buy the name they fell asleep.
