Maybe it is me but Spin really jumped the shark once Guccione left and while I really hate all the rock mags on line and off to a lesser or greater degree, Spin is a spectacular flame out after being so great.
And if that wasn’t enough, Pitchfork’s pathetic thumbs up should be enough to leave you heading for the exits. Yo, folks, 25 years of sucking is WORSE NOT BETTER than 5 years of sucking.
They threw so much money at Junior he had to take. And more’s the pity because Juniors Spin and Blender have been the only two rock mags worth bothering with since Creem went belly up and NME dumped all the Neils.
If I had any money I’d teach em how to do it…
But since I don’t ,I will try and get tix to Spiritualized and if the Black Keys were somewhere (anywhere) else I woulda tried to catch that as well.
