Thom Yorke sees the end of the music biz looming: “It will be only a matter of time – months rather than years – before the music business establishment completely folds. (It will be) no great loss to the world.”
Perhaps it will and perhaps it won’t. It sure gave Radiohead a lot of money for a long, long time. The paradigm appears to be broken but what do you substitute it with.
Last night Kaiser Cartel thanked those in the audience who helped fund their new album. Is this is the way we want to handle things in the future?
