If you can’t sit down and study for finals in silence, tapping your pencil against your desk and hoping that you ace it, you need a sufficient playlist that won’t have you skipping every song like on regular shuffle.
1. Poison- All Time Low. It starts out slow, then gets progressively faster and better. The lyrics are bound to get stuck in your head, or be in your Facebook status.
2. A Story to Tell Your Friends- Every Avenue. I’ve been singing this song for the past two weeks the melody’s so catchy.
3. TGIF- The Secret Handshake. After that intense 7-minute period of studying, you need a bit of a break. This song is so easy to get up and dance to that you’ll get addicted to it in no time.
4. Every Time We Touch(cover)- Cash Cash. If you haven’t danced around enough, this one will most certainly have you jumping around your bedroom, knocking over everything in sight.
5. Liars and Cheats- Hit The Lights. Getting back to studying is difficult after an intense one person dance party, but this song will mellow you out and get you focused.
6. Birmingham- The Almost. It’s upbeat but not distracting and is so fun that you’ll play it at least ten times.
7. Fool Everyone- A Rocket To The Moon. Sure it’s fun to jump around to but just tapping your foot and bobbing your head is sufficient to make sure you don’t fail your exam.
8. Punch-Drunk Love- The Summer Set. It makes me want to learn how to play guitar and never put it down. It’s a calming song but it doesn’t lull you to sleep.
9. Backbone(acoustic)- There For Tomorrow. Before I go to bed every night, I have to listen to this song at least once. There’s something about it that makes it something more than addictive. Either it’s the vocals or the tempo or the melody, or those things all together, but it’s perfect.
10. Get Up- Mayday Parade. When you’re about to be finished with studying, you want something that will make you happy and excited. This song has a great beat that will get you pumped up about being able to do anything and not sit at your desk staring at a book.
Yeah, good luck with that studying.
