Freedy Johnston is the poster boy for the singer songwriter who never quite got where he deserved to get. It feels like pure bad luck to me, I can’t think of an earthly reason why he shouldn’t be enjoying a huge career as an elder statesman for the singer songwriter as super smart rocker type. Freedy will be at Joe’s Pub on Wednesday and sure to be as smart as ever.
