I thought they had separated in good terms, didn’t they throw a snob party when they got divorce? Things have changed a lot apparently as Karen Elson, Jack White’s ex-wife, has obtained a restraining order against her husband. She has primary custody of their children, but is now claiming that her ex has been harassing her with phone calls and e-mails these past months.
Elson’s attorney revealed Jack White’s nasty side:
‘He has persisted in discouraging her from communicating with or taking advice from her counsel in effort to coerce her into acting against her and the parties’ minor children’s best interests, often by emails laced with profanity and calling wife derogatory names. These communications are often threatening in nature and the wife fears for her and the children’s safety as a result of this harassment.’
Could that guy be a violent man? I wouldn’t be surprised, things have turned really sour but this is not really new as the order claims that ‘this pattern of husband’s bullying wife into submission was a contributing factor in the demise of the marriage’.
And this goes beyond this, according to the court filing, Jack White recently pressured Karen Elson to contact their children’s private school, because he didn’t want his son to be in the same class than the child of another entertainer whom White ‘feels has ‘ripped off’ his music’… I wonder who that person could be! What a pompous joke this Jack White is!
