Remember how we interviewed those adorable boys of Call The Cops awhile back?
Well they got that gig from the Toyota Music Rock The Space contest for unsigned bands. Its submission time again!
From now to June 7 unsigned bands can submit themselves for consideration here; http://www.myspace.com/toyotamusic. The website will also provide you with the tools to create viral music widgets with embed codes. A panel of industry pros and A&R reps (yet no one from rocknyc) will select 10 semifinalists who will be featured prominently on the Toyota MySpace page, and fans will vote to narrow the pool of contestants down to five and eventually the winner.
Winners announced in September.
A very cool offer as the prize a contract with MySpace Records, and a $10,000 instrument package from Fender.
