Moby is a pretentious art bag fool who had one good release “Play” other than that he’s as obnoxious as Morrissey without the looks and legend.

He has an admirable warped perception of himself.  In a past issue of VegNews magazine he opens up his refrigerator for the world to gaze upon his vegan contents- bro please we don’t really give a rats nest about your wheat grass and why doesn’t Gwen Stefani lick your head anymore (*note search out the South Side video collab on YouTube, by far the highlight of this guys career)

So now Moby is doing the world a big favor.  Free music for independent film makers! Yussssss…

Of course, everyone needs a bit of Moby for their handmade films and hell, Moby needs the press.  The site Mobygratis.com is a lovely place that the ever articulate man describes as follows (legit quote, guys)

Mobygratis is a website I started four or five years ago, and basically gives free music to film students, nonprofits, indie filmmakers, and the music is free,”  wait how much is the music again?  ‘FREE MUSIC FOR FREE!”

“There is quiet music and loud music and fast music and slow music,” Moby explained in the video. “So my hope is that somewhere on mobygratis.com you’ll find the music that you’re looking for”

Ok, I have been mean( and honest) enough on the poor guy for one post.  Please note this free music is only free to independent film makers and students but if you make a commercial film for profit you’ll have to pay up- with all money going to the Human Society.

“Well, the music is free as long as it’s used in non-commercial films. When the music is used in a commercial film, any money that’s generated goes to the Humane Society, so I get nothing.”

Now, let’s go look in his fridge again..shall we?
