Beardcore by Mary Magpie

After Everest, Minus The Bear came on we noticed one thing at the same time– their beards. Beardcore seems to be the new thing in all music genres.

I’ve heard from almost everyone who is a fan of Minus The Bear(d) that they’re great live, and they were all right. Not a single issue with the singer or the drummer or anything else and no one complained about any part of the show. It was probably because the band was so into playing and the crowd was throwing positive energy right at the band too. The entire room was filled with people smiling, singing along, and everyone was looking right at Minus. They put on a great show and looked happy to have this as their profession.

Often classified as “Indie”, I noted that MTB transcended genres. This band cannot be pigeon holed, their spectrum is large. You can feel the strength of their sound and easily see them filling arenas. They’re teetering on the edge of mega success.

Minus The Bear is a band that’s incredible live and recorded. If they’re coming to your area, don’t miss it for anything. The intimate club wont hold them long, get close while you still can.
