Long time readers (OK it was October I think) remember how I got the virtual crap beaten out of me for disliking a performance by Haste The Day. My kid took some hardcore abuse from their minions and its not fun to hear your mother being called a bitch an asshole or worse. But, Mary is tougher than I will ever be and after a deep breath and a Magpie styled f-u, we carried on and the friendships in disarray were semi mended (only to finally be killed by lies and deceit but meh screw them…)
ANYWAY..
Haste The Day announced for a summer headlining tour of the U.S. with Mychildren Mybride and Upon A Burning Body.
“You will hear all of your favorite old HTD songs. You will hear a brand new HTD song that will blow your mind and make you forget we even have old songs.” says bassist Michael Murphy.
So, as any good blogzilla would I am going to attempt to get an interview. I want to talk to them about spitting on church floors and their fans rally cry. Im going back for more.
I do like their music, recorded. Perhaps the venue (or the inhabitants therein) were the problem. But hell I’m down with a second chance.
