Wow. How many unsigned bands have Robyn take over as lead singer for a song and Diplo producing the remix?
As many as have Sting’s daughter, Coco Sumner, playing for them.
I Blame Coco are a prettygood dance rock band out of London and who, based upon their myspace tracks, have a great drummer but the songs need work. Still, they aren’t terrible by a long shot.
And trust me Coco, having Sting as a papa is no plus at rock nyc. I’ve seen him twice i walked out both times. The last time time two years ago at MSG with the Police.
SO no harm, no foul.
Except the girl (nineteen years old) has the affrontary to say she lives out of a suicase and takes no money from her parents. Coco is a pretty girl and could make it as a model without papa’s help (though with his genes). But it is to seriously unclue yourself as to how life works to claim she is making it on her own. if I don’t pay my rent I get evicted, if Coco doesn’t pay her rent her Daddy buys her the apartment.
Having said all that, really, I kinda like I Blame Coco. At least they have a different sound…
