Must See: One Direction In July (Setlist Included)

1D bringing it all back home

With thirteen tracks off Take Me Home and only five off Up All Night, plus three covers, this is the second album One Direction tour for sure. And the preview I caught last December was good enough for me to want a closer look even if it means being surrounded by preteens for hours on end.

ID are good because they choose strong songs and know how to sell em. Home was a major battle by songwriters the world over to get included. It meant millions. This is all “A” listers bringing their “A” game and for 1D’s many fans it is more than an added plus being sold great songs, it is the entrance fee to fandom, puppy love and fun times . This is manufactured good times but then so is a skateboard, more than any other band around 1D do what they are meant to do: they are a product manufactured by Simon Cowell but with a certain amount of self-confidence and inherent charm.

List we forget, 1D are a HARMONY BOY BAND not a rock group.
