You can count on Kayne West to stick to humbleness and lo-fi self-presentation,… nah the rapper who has recently introduced himself as ‘God’, has just decided to project a video of his face singing his new single on 66 different buildings around the globe. Why 66? Does West believe he is Satan too?
On May 17th, ‘New Slaves’ could be seen and heard in Berlin, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Sydney and Toronto at different times, and you had to check Kayne West’s website if you wanted to catch one of the projections; there’s one going on in Los Angeles at the time I am writing this, but I am running downtown in my pajamas!
He announced it on Twitter of course, in his usual bold style,
‘NEW SONG AND VISUAL FROM MY NEW ALBUM BEING PROJECTED TONIGHT ACROSS THE GLOBE ON 66 BUILDINGS’… calm down, we’ve heard you Kayne,… It was difficult not too, Jeez, I have always the impression this guy is mad at something or someone. The song is as loud and angry as his tweet with lines raging about racism like ‘My mama was raised in the era when clean water was only served to the fairer skin’, then lines just whining, ‘Doing clothes you would have thought I had help/But they wouldn’t be satisfied unless I picked the cotton myself’… Come on! Enough of this paranoia, how can multimillionaire Kayne West, whose problems are only related to Lamborghinis and Kardashian girlfriends, can still relate to all this? ‘Fuck you and your corporation/Y’all niggas can’t control me’?? he continues,… what is it talking about, he is the corporation!
Anyway, talking about control, Kayne West has literally taken control over the world right now, just before taking over Saturday Night Live this Saturday.
