C'mon! I cant even believe there is more and more KISS stuff nearly every month. Coffee shops, mini golf, cruises, theme bars its absurd but fantastic that a band can be such a freaking cash cow!
Granted this band used to be the starter base for rock and roll fandom but are they really so timeless that they can keep doing these projects successfully. How do they keep coming up with the ideas anyway!
IDW Publishing has been commissioned to provide a comic fo the KISS guys..as kids.
"Kiss is used to rocking and rolling all night and partying every day, but back when they were little 'uns, those things only happened around nap time," said Ryall, also IDW's chief creative officer and editor-in-chief. "This series will appeal to kids and Kiss fans of all ages, as we see the school-age band engage robots, evil teachers, other students and much more, all filtered through the Kiss lens.
"Beth, the school's Doctor Love, the snooty Torpedo Girls, the bratty 'Wicked' Lester, nefarious Principal Elder… they're all here for this accessible, funny and appealing new series."
Yeah. I don't suppose that there will be any action for kids on this but I can say that their fathers (and maybe even grandfathers) may really enjoy this sense of nostalgia. Gene Simmons has made no secret of his desire to make money at all effort but this I cant see too much profitability, unless its one of those limited edition autographed things.
