Yup, imagine being in the open water with Rob Thomas and his band of blase. You think that Carnival cruise that was stuck out at sea with no power was bad? I would prefer no sanitation for a week then having to listen to 'smooth' with this group of characters.
I'm being more cruel than I should. It's just my nature and the fact that I am not a fan but there are tons of MB20 fans and having known some- I will reserve my opinion.
This cruise though, its pretty interesting. I really admire the cost. Starting at just $599. its not a massive rip off as some others are and the Florida to Bahamas itinerary is solid. The band will of course, perform but will also hold Q&A sessions photo opps and deck parties where I'm sure the keyboard player will wander by.
Other than the cruise for cruise sake its really just an attempt for MB20 to get some press. Really their time has passed but their fans should just about be empty nesting so they got the cash- bet the band gets a cut of the on board casino.
Check out the lame sales pitch….'coffee tea iced tea ?' Really, that's your sell point?!
Reservations include all meals, coffee, tea, iced tea, and juices, 24-hour complimentary room service and pizzeria, and a one-hour open bar cocktail party. Guests will of course receive full access to all the Carnival Imagination has to offer, from its newly renovated spa and many delicious dining options to the El Dorado Casino and the famed Carnival WaterWorks water slide.
