Styx, REO and Nugent Rock n r Roll Express: Let Us Off NOW

Why read rock nyc when there are so many other publications that have music writers. Well, here is the Denver Post on the Rock N Roll Exoress:  "Tuesday’s lineup of Ted Nugent, REO Speedwagon and Styx brought album-oriented rock to a rabid, near sold-out audience that ate up every lick, groove and wail like it was manna from heaven ". Call me a snob if you must but anybody ho spent their youth listening to those latterdayLinkin Park's deserve everything they get from life and then some.

And I am not saying that if it was the right night at the right venue (meaning: MSG on a friday's with nothing else to do), I might not come along to mock their soleminity (another thing the Denver Post doesn't do, quote Shakespeare) but rreally I can't imagine a place where this line up doesn't win the award for least cool social gathering. Talk about things to do in Denver when yopu're dead.

Or New Jersey for that matter, where the Rock N Roll express is visiting the increasingly irrelevant Izod center (Between Prudential and Brclays, who is gonna bother with this ancient bitch to get to hell hole?). It is rare I see a tour where every band on the bill makes me nauseous, this is a vision of end of times, it is the music the devil will be playing when he comes back as fire.
