The Village Voice have launched a free all ages music festival for this July to be held at South Street Seaport and Pier 17 in NYC.
Yes free- yes all ages- yes NYC.
Ted Leo and The Pharmacists will kick off the inaugural shindig on July 9th and the all day festival goes down the next weekend
Titus Andronicus, Obits and Eleanor Friedberger will join scheduled headliner The Black Angels and performers Davila 666 and Oberhofer July 16th.
The neighborhood where 4Knots Music Festival will be held offers attractions, shops and restaurants and is ankle deep in hipsters and mobsters. It is easily accessible by subway, car, ferry or bus.
A full run down of the day, including other on site activities will be announced shortly. Keep an eye out for more details and additions which I'm sure will be in plenty.
