DuraCell Lo

“Fuck You”, “Forget You”, “Screw You”, “What’s With You”.  Well maybe not those last two but now Cee Lo Green is singing “Thank You”

Proving all you need to do is write one song and modify it for a life time of royalties.

I didn’t like “Fuck You” I found “Forget You” to be Kids Bop pathetic and this, it’s just embarrassing.

Cee Lo is modifying as homage to firefighters at the request of Duracell, and its parent company Proctor and Gamble who is on a mission to give 20 million batteries worth $8 million to the guys down at the station.

I have no issue with the charitable effort.  Tax dollars don’t cover what these brave men and women do to protect and help strangers, some even as volunteers- it’s noble beyond comprehension.  I’m so glad they have chosen to do what they do.

But Cee Lo, seriously how many time are you gonna tweak that tune to serve yourself and P&G are you sure you heard the original? Because your now in partnership with a less that G rated performer.  I realize how squeaky clean the makers of Tide and Dawn dish soap are (get that pun? Yup I’m on fire.. get that pun? K..Enough)

Thank you firefighters for always being dependable

Duracell nice offering I could use some double A’s

Cee Lo, hang on tight, the rides almost over.
