2 Flaming Lips concerts at the Hollywood Forever cemetery

I am actually very excited about this news which came directly from twitter, as it is so often the case these days! The official Flaming Lips twitter account announced on Monday afternoon:

‘Making a poster for 2 nights at Hollywood Forever in June…First night Soft Bulletin second Darkside!!! http://t.co/YL41bvN’

There is no information on the Hollywood Forever cemetery website yet, or anywhere else, but the dates on the poster, June 14th and 15th are still relatively far away.
The place seems to be a perfect one for the Lips’ weirdness, a Hollywood landmark, and the resting place of Johnny Ramone (a Ramones tribute is actually organized over there every year), Cecil B. DeMille, Jayne Mansfield, Rudolph Valentino, Douglas Fairbanks, and many, many more.

Concerts occur outdoors, on the Fairbanks Lawn, or indoors, inside the Masonic Lodge, I guess it will be outdoors for the Flaming Lips, but who knows?

Now there is a dilemma, two nights, one for ‘The Soft Bulletin’, one for ‘Dark Side of the Moon’… So first night? Second night? Both nights? It all depends, tickets are not on sale yet, but when they are, they are gonna fly!
