It is probably harder these days to pick an opening band. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have announced on their facebook page that, they would hold an open mic for their upcoming show at the Grove in Anaheim on October 26th. They will pick 10 names at random, and then select who gets to come play one song on October 21st. Other rules: the band must be able to carry their own instrument and should consist of no more than 2 people.
The winner gets to open for them. Unbelievable exposeur.
If you want your band to enter in the competition, you have to hurry up as submissions close on the 20th.
