Paul Simon better guard his wallet
A man claiming to be the Paul tried to make a withdrawal from Citibank New York yesterday. $4300.00 was the requested amount. Rafael Ramos………are ya with me here RAFAEL RAMOS, impersonated PAUL SIMON using only his social security number, name, and bank account number.
That was one hip teller who thwarted that effort.
Ramos 14 years younger than the 68-year-old singer-songwriter, and is 6 foot 1, not 5 foot 3. He is also Hispanic…..But woo hoo for the try!
Ramos was charged with attempted larceny. After he told the arresting officers he was depressed, he was transported to a hospital.
