Worst concert Ever? American Idle by Mary Magpie

American Idol tour of 2004 is without a doubt the worst show I’ve ever seen. It was for my friend’s birthday and I wasn’t looking forward to it, but I went because we were close.

It was brutal to sit through Carrie Underwood and the rest of the Idols. My mom wasn’t having a great time either because she thought she would die if she sat through it any longer.

I always keep an open mind and open ears when hearing a singer, but the singers were boring to watch and frankly weren’t that talented. At one point, I remember, my mom and I couldn’t believe we actually made it through the whole thing. I’m sure for a fan it was a kind of on-the-edge-of-your-seat excitement, but for someone who can’t stand it, it’s torture.

Of course we stayed for the whole thing because my friend was loving it, and few of the singers were decent, but I kept myself entertained. Eventually, to get away from the show, my mom and I left for a moment and were almost crying for it to end. As the show came to a close, we were ecstatic for the torture to end.

American Idol tour? No thank you.
