Even after Miss Alyson Camus completely nailed Fitz and The Tantrums and what makes them so unique in a recent post, I feel compelled to share my two cents because I just like them that much.
It’s rare for me to 100% stumble upon a band, or anything at all for that matter, and instantly fall in love. But it was love at first listen for me and Fitz. I bought their current EP, “Songs for a Break Up Vol 1,” soon after and its been in and out of my ipod ever since.
They are bringing back some much needed soul to the music seen and their sax section, which I agree with Camus is a “pretty rare thing these days,” is off the chain! I love the sax and what it brings to any song, but who doesn’t? Even Bill Clinton plays the sax.
