Woody Fuller Back From Allgood Festival

It’s a little over 24 hrs since i left my first music festival; and ALL GOOD was one of the best times i have ever had. I returned home, reeking of a combination of many distinct smells, including my sweat, cigs, others sweat, pot, my own BO, other peoples BO, the fried rice i ate, and god knows what else. I encased my body with hot water, ( not too hot b/c i am surely quite sunburned), and had possible one of the greatest showers i have ever had..
But at the same time i was dying to return to the atmosphere i had just experienced and left. A culture like none other. Something you really need try out for yourself, before you can fully understand. Everyone’s more or less quite nice. Everyone has something to offer you, whether its a festival t-shirt, beer for sale, some knowledge, or a long sleeved shirt when you are a bit chilly, ( a complete stranger gave me the shirt off his back as we were walking to our tents after the 2 am set, after talking, sharing a jay, we parted ways), Everyone loves music and being outdoors. Everything is ALL GOOD.
Besides listening to hours upon hours of great music, ranging from Further ( ex-Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh’s band), to DJ Bassnectar, to funk band Lotus, Widespread and concluding with Yonder Mountain Sting Band, I was now prepared to start my journey and explore other music festivals. More knowledgeable about stuff I might want to bring, besides just snacks, bubbles and glow sticks, my list now includes actual food, a pillow, something to sell, maybe bottled water or nicer beers and portable speakers, ( killed car battery this past weekend blasting tunes till the wee hours of the morning.) Luckily Camp Bisco is only 74 hours and 45 minutes away!
