rock nyc met with a web consulting firm yesterday and here is some of the things we learnt about you, the readers.
You are Women, between the ages of 25 -34, you are college grads, you read us at work and you don’t have children and you live in the US.
I am actually a little surprised. I would of thought at least 50/50 and, I don’t wanna be sexist here but, I thought reading about rock was a man’s game.
I also thoght writing about rock was mostly a man’s game as well but times change and the majority of regular contributors are all women so who the heck knows.
The consultant also told us we are a good to make the transition from a blog to a website and we are considering. There are 70 Bullion websites in the world and we are # 2.5M in the world . In the US we are #850,000, and, yes, that is out of 70 Million.
Considering out resources (non existent), that we don’t have outside links or streaming video or really anything but a buncha of poorly edited (trust me, all I ever get is Helen shouting at me for that!) ravings about music, it is not a disappointment.
