“white sheet, black knight, jet black, dead white” by Helen Bach

Tipping my hat to the fathers of rock and roll we pause to remember this days tragedy, In 1960 a car carrying Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran blows a tire and Cochran dies. Vincent is seriously injured.

Cochran may best be known for “Summertime Blues” but my personal favorite was “C’mon Everybody”.

Meet me at the malt shop and Ill wear your lettermans jacket.

The romanticized late 50 early 60s wouldn’t have the cool factor without Cochran.
