Im not going to lie that his work on the “When Harry Met Sally” soundtrack won me over pretty quick.
Sinatra-esque with a modern spin, I loved the whole scene. But he lost his freshness pretty quick. I’ve stated that his marriage sucked the romance right out of his career. He became Mistah New Ah-lenz… instead.
A shame really cuz theres always room for a great jazzy love song. Just not from a guy who wont shut up.
And the whole acting thing. Perhaps I got sick of him?
Regardless lets not dwell and instead wish him a trumpet section of good wishes on this his 43 birthay.
