What Glee Is by Hala El-Djazairy

Glee is an American musical comedy-drama television series that airs on Fox in the United States. It focuses on the High School glee club called, “New Directions,” at the fictional William McKinley High School in, Lima, Ohio.

The series features numerous song covers sung on-screen by the characters. Musical segments typically take the form of performances, as opposed to the characters singing spontaneously, as the intention is for the series to remain reality based.

The show’s musical performances have been a commercial success, with over two million copies of Glee, cast single releases purchased on Itunes.

Songs that no one of this time usually listen to, are being heard all over the country. Songs like: “Don’t Stop Believin’”, “Ice Ice Baby”, songs by Madonna, and many more.

I was taken by surprise at how good Glee is. An exceptionally attractive and talented cast focuses a spotlight – both figuratively and literally – on the ultimate dweebs of High School: The Glee Club. The plot is very well designed. Everything always ties up and I’m always gasping throughout the show. The singing and dancing is amazing. The songs are awesome, a great selection of songs too. Me personally, I would like to see them do a Michael Jackson episode. That would be awesome seeing the moonwalk and the Thriller and Beat it Dance. That would be a great episode, and I love the Michael Jackson songs.
