I can’t believe anybody thought of this and I can’t believe nobody thought of it before. This is the simpliest and most brilliant idea any one has ever had ever and I mean that literally and I am not exagerrating in the least. “This Charming Charlie” takes old Peanust strips and puts Morrissey’s (well, the Smiths) words in their mouths. Here is some bio: “This Charming Charlie is a tumblr by Lauren LoPrete, a graphic designer living and working in the Bay Area. Cool, right? And funny and kinda accurate because Lauren knows what children understand, Morrissey is two parts Charlie, one part Lucy, and the rest of the band are all Linus.
Apparently, Universal, who know a good line when it sits on their head, have forwarded a cease and desist to Lauren (which has subsequently gone the way of all flesh so that’s good news) and Morrissey, because some boys are bigger than others, has come down on the side of the righteous and supports “This Charming Charlie”.
