Today Warped Tour hit CT. A festival we wait for in great anticipation. Its come to a point that we have seen so many of the bands on this tour, simply by following this ‘alt’ genre’, that you cant help but wonder why we still get excited.
Mayday Parade? Call The Cops? Seen um twice, interviewed them once
Rocket Summer? Saw Bryce twice, interviewed him twice.
Alesana? Seen um 3 times now
NeverShoutNever? 3rd time seeing the kid.
So why? What the hell is the big deal to us?
Its the heat. Its the ‘Im going to die” feeling of unable to breath for 9 straight hours.
The sun never stops, the smell of weed and cigarettes and singing pork assault us like a wall of death.
The sweaty half clothed populace of drunken boys and girls looking to be had.
The hucksters, pushing their causes. Begging for attention.
Lots of flirting, lots of noise.
And heat.
It takes days for a seasoned vet as myself to digest what i just experienced but here’s what we did
We
