Taking Back Sunday performed an acoustic version of their song "Faith (When I Let You Down)" at Warped Tour. Taking Back Sunday is one of my favourite bands of all time, so I'm beyond stoked to see 'em live. I've only seen them once before, but it was most certainly not memorable at all.
Lazzara has such immense talent and I love his voice. Recorded, it's smooth and intense and engaging. Live, it's rough and passionate and perfect. The guitars are simple, but that's why this stripped down, acoustic version is so great. TBS doesn't need crazy riffs or smoke and mirrors; Adam's voice carries the tune, and the harmonies/backing vocals make it that much stronger. The pairing is one that pretty much only they can pull off- only a select few musicians are capable of doing something so simplistic without it being boring.
Taking Back Sunday has never let me down.
