Wanna Meet Mac Demarco? He leaves His Real Address At The End Of A Song On His Upcoming Album

Mac “Salad days” DeMarco is a weirdo. When  saw him at 2014’s 4Knots gig, there was a huge contingent of girl fans right at the front of the stage. No, really. And after he performed they disappeared so I am guessing they weren’t there for Dinosaur Jr.

Well, the LA via Canada singer songwriter, who has apparently moved to far Rockaway, and at the end of his upcoming ELP has a song called “My House By The Water” and it includes his address at the end of the song.

Mac told The Wall Street Journal: “The way I rationalize it, to have the address you’ll have to listen to the album to the very end. Second, to even consider coming to my house you have to be a kind of a superfan. And thirdly, it’s in such a weird part of New York that if they actually get there, they deserve a cup of coffee.”

So far 20 people have shown and the album isn’t even out yet.

Personally, I think this is an idea whose time has come… Ps I really kinda like mac. Cray about him, no, and none of his new songs have particularly clicked but the entire come visit me in Far Rockaway vive is the definition of far out.
