Vampire Weekend New Single dropping This Weekend

“Cousins”,  song three from the upcoming VE album Contra, is dropping this weekend on XL.com. It isn’t as immediately as immediately accessible as “White Sky” or “Horchata”, it does include an excellent and highly original while still tell tale VE lick. The lyric is fairly incrutable at this point “Me and my cousins, you and your cousins, I can feel it coming…” but it may make sense when i piece it together.

To be honest, I am getting fairly excited over Contra there doesn’t appear to be any sophomore jnx here!!
