You must be cuz the Allman Bros have announced they’re basically taking up residency at the Beacon Theater for the month of March.
Will these dates really sell out? Do they actually have that following to sustain something like this? Thirteen nights from March 10- March 26. I find it stunning they would be booked that long and in such succession -all though it is16th year or someting ridiculous like that.
Last year the Beacon gave em the boot for Cirque de Soleil and they ended up at the United Palace. A financial disaster for all considered that ended late last year with bootlicker James Dolan apologizing. We covered it here with as much derision as humanly possible.
So why are they doing it again?
These guys are no spring chickens but maybe once they get somewhere they like to stay awhile cuz their knees stiffen up from the arther-itis…
