Uproar Festival, Black Tide: Comcast Center Hartford CT. Sunday September 11, 20111

I went to Uproar Festival and the second I heard music playing in the distance, I ran over to go and watch Black Tide.  It was my first time seeing them live and I was really looking forward to it.

The band played "Warriors Of Time", and it was really obvious the crowd was into it.  They were moving along and crowd surfing, clearly enjoying the band's pure talent.  The singer's voice was completely flawless, and the strong guitars weaved with the bass to create a perfect union, supported by the drummer's immense skill.  The band was all smiles as they were doing what they love.  They had crazy energy as they nailed every note, the song completely flawless.  This anthem rang throughout the whole area, creating a lasting impression.

They gave it their all as they played to an excited and enthusiastic crowd.  "Bury Me", my favourite tune of theirs, was absolutely mind blowing.  Recorded, it's phenomenal but I don't think that I've ever been that captivated by a band's performance before.  This song was so beautiful and it stood out so much from every other performance that night.  By far not only the best of their set, but the best of the whole show.  I was completely stunned and in awe.

Black Tide didn't hold back as they ended their set with a bang, a roaring crowd sending them into total happiness as they left the stage beaming.

What an absolutely fantastic band- live and recorded.
