Comment: Alison Moyet, the 1980s pop singer from Yaz, is the template from which Adele is drawn, and not Amy Winehouse, is a jazzier and more 1950s influenced singer. That’s one reason Amy was such a good match with Tony Bennett and Adele certainly wouldn’t be. The new Moyet album is tough meat, indeed.
