Two Fresh is the new-on-the-scene-but-making-a-name duo of twin brothers Sherwyn and Kendrick Nicholls and is accompanied live by drummer Colby Buckler. The twins, only 20, have been making beats and playing music together since their freshman year of high school. Now they are packing out venues and playing at MoogFest 2010 in their backyard of Asheville, NC.
Their live sets range anywhere from smooth electronic jam band to hype dubstep, and absolutely everything in between. They remind me of what Big Gigantic is doing, only with less experience behind them and a higher ceiling.
They just dropped a collection of songs titled Baker’s Dozen. They are definitely worth checking out and keeping an eye on. In the mean time, get your ass to one of their live shows because they will have you moving throughout the entirety of their set, trust me.
