When Odd Future Records released The Internet's debut album I wasn't all that wowed. I mean, after all, Syd the Kid played for tyhem, so the connection was pretty tight.
Buit now they have signed Sacramento slash and burn hardcore punk band Trash talk so you gotta think they are serious about this.
I've been listening to their five song Awake EP and it is pretty raucuous stuff. Lee Spielman has the bowels of hell vocal down cold and what impresses most is that these guys play so loud and so so so fast, they could well be Speed Metal: TT would be cool opening for Motorhead as Ceremony (or Odd Future themselve come to that). there is something a little ali in their attack, but it comes thru in the end, and after 7 years doing this, they know the sweet button: Trask Talk don't care, and they don't care if you know it.
According to their Press release: "Their new album 119 will be released this fall in a partnership with the band's Trash Talk Collective label".
And they are currently touring in Europe.
