I saw Total Slacker open for Wavves at Bowery Ballroom in 2010, review in rock nyc, and gave the drone rockers an unabashed rave. It was a great night for punk rock, Total Slacker were opening for Smith Westerns and Wavves. I would see the former two bands again (and neither were nearly as good) but never caught Total Slacker again.The night I saw them, they had just released their debut song, a seven inch vinyl single. Last year they release their first album, Thrashin' which convinced me that for now at least theyw ere recording phenom.
So it was with great sadness that we heard of the death of Total Slacker's 24 year old drummer Terence Connor in a bike accident on Monday ar 515am. The band is heartbroken, really everyone is heartbroken.
