Time Out Give Julian Casablancas’ Solo Album Five Star Review

A coupla months ago I laughed at Time Out in this very blog. I was sneering at their overestimation of Dirty Projector’s Bitte Orca and I’ve been eating my words ever since. So there’s one reason why I am excited about Time Out’s five star review of Strokes lead singers  Julian Casablancas solo album Phrazes For The Young. Another reason is my deep affection for the Strokes.

“Fresh yet a throw back to the moog filled ’70s” claims scribe Colin St. James and I won’t contradict him. The album is released on Tuesday…
