Cat’s Eye is a collab between Faris Badwan and Canandian soprano Rachel Zeffara.
Of the three songs I’ve heard, two are the quasi goth dance stuff you might imagination, but the third is a beautiful little stunner, “Not A Friend” with Rachel taken the lead.
A sorta obtuse folkiness with a subtle and lovely melody and strings that haunt it from a distance dazzling the quasi-calypso beat.
Really lovely.
