Things To Do In nyc When You're Dead

Many years ago I had a friend in the advertising business, a pretty good friends. And one day he stopped calling on the office. So I called his company and asked them where he was and they told me he was very ill. After awhile I forgot about him but maybe 18 months later there he was again. He had had a catastrophic illness and I questioned him as to what it was like. He said it was like dying. Everybody forgot you, nobody called on you and even the people who care most for you,  just loose interest.

Soooo, why am I telling you this?

Glad you asked.. Because after Sunday's "Guthrie Family gig, I got really sick and still am four days later…

I missed

2 days of work.

Frank Sinatra Junior

Best Coast

LCD movie

And problably American nightmare (that will be tomorrow, Friday)

If I am sick next week, there goes:

Aerosmith

Met Recital

Frank Ocean or Tyler The Creator

Pretty drastic, right?

It makes me think, if there is a concert and I don't go does it really exist. Or perhaps the other way around. What will happen when I die? Will there be  no more rock shows?
