cablevision-altice

Cablevision: The worst run cable company, in a market that includes Time Warner, has been sold by the dreaded Dolan family to European telecom giant Altice is for $17.7 billion. Now if we can just convince them to buy the Knicks while they’re at it. But no. The fat pudgy face of James Dolan, a man so hated in this town he should run for President.

The GOP Debates: Only in US politics can we want the person least equipped to win the race to win the race. A Ceo, a brain surgeon and a fat fingered lout. Amazing, they make you miss Mitt Romney. Apparently Carly Fiorina did very well and Donald Trump seemed worn out. Me? I was at the Madonna concert.

Live: If Tommy Keene at Bowery Electric is as good as Madonna was last bight at MSG, my life will be complete.

Recorded: Heard Ryan Adam’s version of “Bad Blood” on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show. Not bad, nothing great. Not a favorite song from the album though you can certainly appreciate his crouching in wait for “Band-Aids don’t fix bullet holes”. Grade? B+

New York Daily News: Bad blood indeed, rumor has it Mike Lupica is in deep negotiations to keep his job, I bet if he goes the Post will pounce. They should also get Filip Bondy. Oh, and if Jim decides to move, the Post absolutely needs him as well.
