Recorded: Sajak’s penultimate song last night was a cover of The Stranglers epic self portrait “(Get A) Grip (On Yourself)”, one of the tastiest licks you’ll hear. Meanwhile, Dawes fans are upset I gave their new album a “B”…. they don’t seem to understand how I can like the playing and the lyric but think the songs didn’t make it.

Death: VP Joe Biden’s 47 year old son, Beau” Biden III, Iraq War veteran and former attorney general of Delaware died Saturday at age 46, Proof once again that even the VPOTUSA can’t hide from life if it goes in search of him.
News: Rabbi Jonathan Rosenblatt, “a prominent Modern Orthodox clergyman in Riverdale, NY, a grandson of the ultra-famous cantor Yossele Rosenblatt” (according to “Modern Thinker”), has had boys as young as twelve years of age Sauna naked with him. No criminality except for trauma with a blunt instrument.
Sports: I can’t believe the Rangers lost, bummer man. Meanwhile, the Mets fade and the Yanks are what they are, a mediocre bunch needing maybe two good pitchers to justify. But at least they took one off the Angels.
Newspapers: The New York Post is my paper of choice, but I am begin to tire of their constant bombardment of negativity on Mayor Bill De Blasio, at some stage they hate so much about the Mayor they are entirely untrustworthy. The Mayor is exactly what he says he is, and since we have only had conservative Mayors since 1994, I don’t see what is wrong with a Progressive Mayor.
