The Summer Set recorded a live version of their tune "Mona Lisa", and I love it. It's better than the recorded version.
His voice is so pure and has a really nice summery feel to it. Everything is spot on. He hits the notes in such a way that I'm immediately drawn in. Each part is perfect.
I love how everyone in the band is performing this, and it's not just a voice and guitar rendition. The fact that it's the band as a whole doing this makes it even greater. I can't stop listening to it. Every element makes it the best song The Summer Set's ever done. The lyrics are fantastic, his voice is gorgeous and has improved greatly, and the instruments just accentuate it so much. This is the kind of music that TSS is supposed to make. Of course I love their catchy, upbeat pop stuff but acoustic? I was absolutely blown away.
By far the best performance the band's ever done, live and recorded. It's raw and real and stunning. It left me speechless.
