The Summer Set's Brian and John did an acoustic version of their popular song "Chelsea".
At first, I didn't like Brian's voice raw. It felt to nasal and was a bit annoying. However, the more I listened, the more it grew on me. I actually like it. Also, John's little parts show that he could definitely sing too. I'd love to hear John doing some lead vocals in the future, because he's got real potential.
I'm not a huge fan of Brian's voice in this particular version, but after watching about four different videos of them doing the same song at different times, I realized that maybe he was just a bit off that day.
Regardless, I love the song no matter what, and I actually love the acoustic version, better than the original. It just feels so much less…cliche and mainstream when it's stripped down.
