The Ready Set released a new tune called "The Bandit". I can't tell if I like it or not though.
His voice is autotuned beyond belief but the parts that aren't so much are remeniscent of his older stuff. It incorporates a lot of clever beats and instruments that i haven't really heard from TRS. This song doesn't feel forced at all. It's nice to listen to. Also, with its incredible catchy dance beat it's the best new song of his I've heard.
However, the autotune makes me want to kill something. Jordan's voice is so naturally great and has such a fantastic tone to it- then he had to go butcher it with effects. It's quite dissappointing because it almost feels like he's not confident in his singing. Without the autotune, it'd by far be the best song he's ever produced. Unfortunately, TRS made the unfortunate decision to use a painful amount of autotune.
Minus the over-editing on Jordan's voice, the song is definitely worthy of buying it on iTunes. It's captivating and pleasant- it shows a true growth in The Ready Set's musical career, and it's a great song to add to their show repetoire.
