The Freestylin' Pusha T

One word changed me from indifferent to a fan of Pusha T. “Intimacy” on Kanye’s “Runaway”. And just like that I could hear the Clipse MC’s flow and voice. How he seemed to swagger and to trip himself up at the same time.

Pitchfork have two freestyle Pusha T jams you can download and they are both pretty good.

One is a reworking of Kanye and Bon Iver’s “Kost In the World”, the other finds him rapping over Bun B’s “Cook It Down”. On the “Put It Down” take off, he sounds very Kid Cudi-ish.

Pretty good stuff, and I am gonna have to try ut some Clipse, I only know like two songs.
